Work Exchange Program

We offer our work exchange program for folks looking for a more accessible option for membership fees. Members participating in the work exchange program work 2, 2-hour shifts a week (16 total hours a month) in exchange for membership fees. Work exchange is not available for class fees. We currently have a waitlist for the program and are unable to give timeline estimates but do our best to reach out as soon as possible.

Qualifications

We look for applicants who have studio technician task experience, or at least 3 months experience being independent studio members in either Third Place Pottery or an outside studio. Priority is given to current studio members and to those with financial need.

We require a minimum of a 3-month commitment to the program. If you decide to leave the program, you will be placed back on the waitlist to allow others to participate.  

Tasks

Examples of tasks include general studio cleaning and organizing, studio maintenance, and reclaim processing.
